Age Group Programs

Tri-Valley Water Polo Club offers youth programs for boys and girls at the high school (18u/16u) and middle school (14u/12u) levels. The age group teams are designed to both teach the beginning fundamentals of water polo and enhance the existing skills of seasoned and competitive athletes.

We participate in local tournaments and leagues and also travel to regional tournaments in other areas of the U.S. Our sessions follow the four seasons of the year. The annual water polo calendar begins with the Fall session (Sept-Nov) and then follows with Winter (Nov-Feb), Spring (Feb-May) and ends with the Summer session (May-July) that culminates with the USA Water Polo Junior Olympics in late July. There is no Fall session for 18u/16u due to the high school water polo season.  All athletes must meet minimum swimming capability requirements to participate.

Trial Program

Tri-Valley Water Polo Club is pleased to provide an opportunity for athletes that are new to our program or a beginner to the sport to participate in a Free 2-week Trial Program. All athletes must register with USA Water Polo and have a Trial Level Membership to participate. Please visit the USA Water Polo website to register. https://usawaterpolo.org/ There is no charge for a Trial Level Membership. Athletes are required to show proof of a Trial Level Membership prior to participation. The Free 2-week period for the Trial Program must end no later than the completion of the third week of a session. If the athlete elects to continue participating after the end of the Free 2-week Trial period, they are required to have a Bronze Level Membership.
